Our Times together, more than fifty years ago
Our 'Golden Age' Then is our Golden Anniversary Now!
- The cars.
- The music.
- The clothes.
- The TV shows - (now considered classics, we'll have you know).
- And, testing and pushing at times the social norms of the 1970's.
And ugh - those school classes and that building.
Long halls that seemed to stretch for a mile, corridors which were never short enough for running in time to make that next class. And before 'other kids' got soft and needed air-conditioning, we were tough enough to survive rooms that were cold in the winter and hot in the early summer!
But once that dismissal bell rang and the buses pulled away for the day, we were the generation that got to enjoy some of the best music, cars, movies and social life there ever was - and share it all with our peers, our classmates.
Now, re-discover that same excitement, that same youthful sense of unknown fun, and some unexpected happiness with your classmates, at our Golden 50th Class Reunion in 2025!
And here's how it all began ...
Each of us can still remember that time of day we eagerly looked forward to: that morning buzzer that signaled the start of a new school day. A brand new morning to re-group with our close friends and pals – to catch-up on what happened since dismissal that afternoon before.
Each morning was like our early version of Social Media, but without the mobile devices, LOL. And part of that youthful excitement and anticipation was in the wonderment of what all the 'new buzz' was about, as we headed to Home Room first thing that morning. Then each class during the day was a new mix of friends and 'foes' alike.
No one day - no one class period - was ever like the next!
Now this September 27, the Blue-and-Gold sounds that morning call for you!
